Has anyone else been struck by how Brian's instinct to help his family ended in such tragedy? It's haunting to think about the turmoil he must have been in when he made that last trip to Larry's house. As someone who's followed the case closely, I'm reminded of the heavy burden many first responders carry — to protect and serve, even when it means stepping into danger for loved ones. Brian's bravery cost him his life, and it’s a profound reminder of the risks they face, both on and off duty. Sending love and strength to Trina, Kimberly, and everyone else who was impacted. This is beyond difficult, and no family should have to endure such loss. How do the rest of you cope with these stories when they hit so close to home?
