Hey everyone, I came across this case, and it really puts a spotlight on the systemic issues within our justice system. Isaiah Andrews’ story is just devastating, especially thinking about the time he spent in prison for a crime he didn't commit. I can't stop thinking about how different his life might have been if the evidence pointing to Willie Watts had been shared back in 1974. It's truly upsetting to realize that a piece of information like that could have changed everything. It hurts to know that someone spent 45 years away from family and loved ones due to such a critical oversight. Does anyone know if there have been changes or reforms in Cleveland to prevent this from happening again? It seems like some serious accountability measures need to be in place for police departments handling such sensitive information. My heart goes out to everyone who supported Isaiah throughout his fight for justice, and I hope his case brings about real change.
