It's been several years since James Crabtree Jr.'s tragic murder, and I still can't wrap my head around the sheer senselessness of it all. I keep thinking about how James was just out there doing his job, something so routine like delivering a pizza, and how it turned into such a nightmare. It’s horrifying that someone could be so callous and willing to take a life for what was probably just a few dollars.
What's really upsetting is thinking about his kids. Losing a parent in such a violent way must be incredibly tough to deal with, especially knowing that their father was just trying to provide for them. I sincerely hope they’re surrounded by love and support as they continue to grieve.
