Arthur Burchett's passing has left such a void in the Richwood community. I can't help but think about the role that his scrap dealing might have played in this tragedy. It makes me wonder about the darker side of what seems like such a simple trade. It's so unsettling to think that something as straightforward as buying and selling scrap could put someone in harm's way like this. From what we're hearing, it seems like Arthur's generosity was well-known, and perhaps that drew all types to his door, including those with bad intentions. It’s a heartbreaking situation not just for his family, but for all of us who knew him or know of people in similar situations. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time, as well as anyone else who might be facing similar dangers in their line of work. Stay safe out there, everyone.
