I’ve been following Clinton Heins’ case for a while now, and something that really stands out to me is how little information there is about his movements after he was last seen at his home on McDonald Road. The reports that he might have traveled to either Texarkana or Tulsa are intriguing, yet there's literally no evidence to solidify these theories. I wonder if there was ever any verification, like gas station sightings or credit card activity, that could have pointed in either of these directions?
Also, considering Clinton had a speech impediment and was classified as disabled, it concerns me that if he did travel, he might have been more exposed to dangerous situations or misunderstanding. With those characteristics, someone must’ve noticed him? But then again, it was 1990, and records weren't as meticulously kept or easily cross-referenced as they are now. I keep hoping that revisiting these cities could unearth something new.
Fingers crossed someone out there knows something and is just waiting for the right moment to come forward. Stay safe, everyone.
Has anyone looked into local hospitals or shelters during that time when Clinton Heins disappeared? Given his vulnerabilities, I'm curious if he might have sought help at any nearby facilities, especially since he wore eyeglasses and might have struggled without them. It might be far-fetched, but if he ended up confused or in an unfamiliar place, he could have wandered to a hospital or a shelter. Sometimes, records from such places aren't thoroughly checked in older cases. If anyone has contacts in Texarkana or Tulsa, maybe they can dig into archives or reach out to local hospitals and shelters around January 1990 to see if there were admissions that match his description. Just a thought, but wouldn't it be amazing to uncover new information after all this time?
