I've been following this case for a while now, and every time I think about Eric Adell Givens II and the ripple effect of his tragic death, I can't help but feel for his family and friends. It must be incredibly difficult not having answers or seeing anyone held accountable after all these years. I’m particularly curious about the black assault rifle they found at the scene. Was it ever linked to any suspects? It seems like a significant piece of evidence. It's astonishing how despite such a serious lead, the case has seemingly stalled. The community deserves closure, especially with the history of violence in the 2nd Ward. I hope the investigators keep pushing for breakthroughs. Does anyone have any insights on when or if the police have released further details since the initial investigation? It might really help to revisit some leads with fresh eyes or involve independent agencies. Keeping Eric's memory alive is essential in maintaining the pressure for justice. My thoughts are with those who knew and loved him.
