Does anyone else think it's odd that Vanessa Smith wasn't reported missing until July 1991? That's nearly seven months after she was last seen. It's been bugging me why it took so long for her family to alert the authorities. Was there a communication breakdown within the family? Did they think she was traveling and would return eventually? This delay seems crucial since it could have hindered early investigation efforts. Still hoping someone comes forward with information to help solve this mystery.
