I was just thinking about Elijah's mom and family today. I can't even begin to imagine what they've gone through. When I first heard about this case, it really struck me how quickly life can change. Elijah and Dominique were just sitting in a car, probably thinking about what they were going to do later or just chatting like any of us do with friends. It's those small, everyday moments that really stick with me. The fact that this was a targeted shooting just chills me. Someone pointed a gun and decided to take lives, and for what reason? It breaks my heart looking at the photos of Elijah and seeing a young man who had his whole life ahead of him. I hope the trial brought some sense of closure to his family, but I know nothing can fill the absence of a lost loved one. I'm also curious about the second crime scene they mentioned. Does anyone know more about that or what evidence they found there? It would make sense that multiple spots might be involved in something like this, especially if it was planned. But, it still feels surreal that this was happening in their neighborhood. Sending love to everyone touched by this tragedy.
