Has anyone else looked into the connection between the location where Katrina’s truck was found and Justin Merriman’s past activities? Angeles National Forest is so vast and remote; I can't help but wonder if Merriman had some previous connection to that area which might give clues about where Katrina’s remains could be. It's chilling to think about, but sometimes convicts have patterns or places they revisit. Anyone with knowledge of the area or Merriman's past who can weigh in? Would love to dig deeper into this angle with fresh eyes.
I’ve been following the Katrina Montgomery case, and something that's always puzzled me is the location where her truck was abandoned. The Angeles National Forest is a vast area—why leave it there? Was it a spot locals knew well, or just secluded enough that Merriman thought it wouldn’t be discovered for a while? It makes you wonder if there was any significance to that spot or if it was just a convenient dump site. Did Merriman have any connections to that area, or was it a random attempt to mislead the investigation? I find it curious, especially since other remains or belongings haven’t turned up there. Anyone else find this part of the case odd, or have I missed something in earlier reports?
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Katrina Montgomery's case for a while and something that's been bugging me is the location where her truck was found. The Angeles National Forest is quite a vast area, right? I'm curious why it was left there specifically. Did Merriman have any known connections or familiarity with the area? It seems like such a random spot unless it held some significance. I know some criminals dispose of evidence in places they're comfortable with, so maybe there's a deeper story there? Has anyone looked into whether other activities or people from SHD were known in that area around that time? Just trying to piece together how her final movements could have played out. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated!
