I’ve been following Alaya's case and something that really gets to me is the role the community played in supporting her family after the tragedy. It’s one of those rare glimpses of humanity shining through in the darkest moments. From what I’ve read, there were several fundraisers to help her family cope with everything going on. It’s touching to see neighbors and strangers come together to shoulder some of the burden. It reminds me that even when things seem extremely bleak, there's kindness out there trying to lift others up. If anyone here attended any of those events or has stories about how the community rallied, I'd love to hear them. Alaya’s terrifying and tragic experience shouldn't be in vain, and it’s important to remember the good actions people take in response. Thinking of Alaya and sending strength to her family.

I can't stop thinking about the brave efforts of the Cleveland community after what happened to little Alaya. It's incredible to see how people came together to support her family, organizing fundraisers and offering whatever help they could. It’s so important for those who are grieving to know they aren’t alone, and it must have meant a lot for Alaya’s family to feel that kind of support surrounding them. In times of such unimaginable pain, seeing a community rally together shows the best of humanity amidst the worst of circumstances. What a beautiful way to honor Alaya’s memory by building a network of love and support. My heart truly goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. How do you all think we can keep this spirit of support alive in our communities, even outside of such tragedies?
