I’ve been reading about Jacob Valdiviezo’s case, and it’s absolutely haunting to imagine the pain his family and friends endure. One aspect that really stands out to me is how the community came together for the candlelight vigil and peace march. It’s touching to see people unite in such a heartfelt way to honor his memory and spread a message of peace. While it’s deeply saddening that such an event was needed, it also shows the strength and resilience within the Mission District. Keeping those marching for change in my thoughts, and hoping this unity leads to meaningful change in the neighborhood. ?
