Hey everyone, I've been following the Mohamud Khalif Mohamed case for a while and can’t stop thinking about how deeply this must have affected his family, especially his brother who was involved. It’s such a complex situation, and I imagine that dealing with the investigation’s outcome must be incredibly difficult for everyone involved. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain of losing a sibling in such tragic circumstances, let alone the added burden of being part of the event. I was wondering if the community or family have set up any memorials or events in honor of Mohamud? Sometimes coming together and remembering the person, outside of the narrative of the crime, helps to heal. Does anyone know if there’s anything planned or any way to support the family? It’s important that, as outsiders, we respect their space while still keeping the memory of their loved one alive in a meaningful way.
