I’ve been thinking about the people who were close to Eric Raglin, especially his family and friends. It’s almost unimaginable how one moment can alter so many lives forever. From all accounts, Eric was well-loved, and it's evident that his death created a massive void in the lives of those who knew him. I can’t stop wondering about the emotional aftermath faced by his loved ones during the trial. Seeing the person responsible for such a senseless act must have been excruciating. These kinds of tragedies are reminders of how deeply gun violence impacts individuals and entire communities. My heart goes out to everyone still dealing with the pain of losing Eric. It’s essential to keep them in our thoughts and to continually advocate for meaningful changes to prevent similar tragedies in the future. How are the local communities coping now, several years later? Are there any ongoing support groups or initiatives they’ve started in Eric’s memory?
