Has anyone looked into the mention of Allison's "new friend" he told his wife about? If he was acting strangely that day, maybe this friend had something to do with it. It's concerning that he was last seen being picked up and then dropped off at Mountain View, and then just vanished completely. Could this friend shed any light on who Allison might have been interacting with or what might have been out of the norm for him? The link between his odd behavior and this unknown person seems like it could be a critical lead. I hope someone has looked deeper into this angle.

Hey everyone, I’ve been digging deeper into Allison's disappearance from Mountain View back in '97. One thing that really struck me was his mention of a "new friend" when he was on the phone with his wife. Does anyone else find that detail really strange? It makes me wonder who this new friend was and how they fit into the timeline. Considering that he was dropped off in Mountain View just before he vanished, could this new friend have had something to do with his whereabouts that day? Anyone have thoughts on how new friendships or acquaintances have played into other missing persons cases? Would love to hear what you all think.
