I'm just trying to wrap my head around the Najmuddeen Salaam case. It's really weighing on me how someone can be taken from this world, and there are still no answers or justice for him or his family. I know his past was complicated, with those legal issues and everything, but I think it's important to remember that every person has loved ones out there who are affected by this violence.
One thing that truly sticks with me is how this case shines a light on the broader issue of unsolved homicides. When I hear about Salaam's death and the lack of leads or arrests, it makes me think about all the other cases out there that end up cold. For those of us in the Columbus area or those following from afar, maybe there's a way to support or bring more awareness to the need for resources in solving these cases.
