I find myself thinking a lot about the second victim who survived this terrible night. It must be incredibly difficult for him, not only having experienced such a traumatic event but also knowing that his friend Andre didn't make it. Survivors’ guilt is a real thing and I hope this young man is receiving all the support he needs to process everything. I can't even imagine how Andre's family feels, and how they must be longing for answers and justice. I’m hoping for some kind of breakthrough in this case soon, both for Andre’s loved ones and for the sake of everyone in the community who deserves to feel safe. It’s scary to think of the possibility of gang-related violence and what that means for residents of Lorain. If anyone hears anything or even suspects something, please do reach out to the authorities. Your information could bring peace to a grieving family.
