I've been following Duane Edward Penick Jr.'s case for a while, and I'm perplexed by the lack of leads in such a tragic event. Everyone who knew Duane seems to describe him as having an infectious energy and big dreams. It’s deeply saddening to think those dreams were cut short. One thing I do wonder about is the specifics of the area where his body was found. Does anyone familiar with Columbus have insights into the 17th Ave environment around that time of year? It might help better understand potential witnesses or surveillance that could have been overlooked. It’s chilling to think that someone knows something and has remained silent. Keeping Duane’s family in my thoughts. They truly deserve answers and justice for what happened to him.
