It’s been over four years since we lost TJ McNichols in the tragic Oregon District shooting, yet the community is still healing. I’ve read about the impact he had on his family and friends as a loving father and devoted family man. It's unimaginable for his kids to grow up without him. It’s important we continue to remember the nine lives stolen that day and the countless others affected. They weren't just statistics. I hope that in honoring them, we can inspire real conversations about what needs to change to prevent such tragedies in the future. To the McNichols family and all other families who lost loved ones that day, you are in my thoughts.
