I can’t stop thinking about the environment surrounding Shon's tragic death. That abandoned apartment complex in Mount Pleasant is not just a physical structure but a symbol of neglect and an area where kids should never have been allowed to gather or play. It’s frustrating how these neglected places become hangouts that set the stage for tragic events. How can the community work towards ensuring these areas are cleaned up or repurposed to prevent future tragedies? It must be so devastating for Shon’s family and friends to know that something like this could have possibly been prevented if more attention was paid to such places. Hoping for better times for his family and for the area itself. Thoughts?

I came across a news report about Shon Glass's death, and I can't stop thinking about how crucial it is for communities to come together to support our youth. It's so difficult to imagine losing someone so young, with their whole life ahead of them. I wonder if there were any programs or mentors in the area that could have made a difference for these kids. It really makes me hope that more can be done to offer guidance and safe spaces for teens in neighborhoods like Mount Pleasant. I’m sending strength to Shon’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
