Living in Cincinnati, the constant reports of shootings have become all too familiar, but when it hits close to home, it’s a whole different feeling. I read that no arrests have been made and it deeply saddens me to think that his family and friends are still in the dark about why this happened. It seems like the Westwood neighborhood has been experiencing a troubling surge in violence recently. I wonder if there’s a specific hotspot in this area or if it’s just a case of random acts happening close together. I really hope more witnesses come forward or that any nearby surveillance cameras can shed some light on the events of that night. Damontae deserves justice, and his loved ones deserve peace.
