Has anyone been following the details about Deonte Tay Kyle Yepes' tragic death in Columbus back in March 2020? I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact on his family and loved ones. It’s unimaginable what they must be going through, especially knowing this was the 20th homicide in the city that year. I was particularly struck by the fact that Terrance Roane, the guy charged with Deonte's murder, has had such an extensive criminal history. It's chilling to think that he once faced murder charges for the tragic death of a young girl in 2011, although those were dismissed. It makes you wonder how someone with such history continues to remain a threat to society. My heart goes out to Deonte’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I hope sharing thoughts and staying united in seeking justice can bring them some comfort. Would love to hear your thoughts and see if anyone has more updates or insights on this case.
