I've been following the case of Jahneil Douglas, and I can't stop thinking about the security and safety measures (or lack thereof) at places where young people tend to gather, like outside Gino's Pizza. It makes me wonder, were there any security cameras in place that night? If so, how much did they capture? I'm asking because sometimes these footages can clear up misunderstandings or misinformation about what went down. Also, I'm curious if Gino's or any similar spots have since reconsidered their security protocols in light of this tragic event. Jahneil's loss has obviously left a huge void in his community and among his loved ones, and maybe improving safety measures could prevent something similar from happening in the future.
