I've been thinking a lot about the case of DarShawn Carr from Akron, and something that sticks with me is the timing of it all. It's so unsettling. I mean, 7:30 a.m. is such an unusual time for something this tragic to occur. It's a time when most people are just starting their day, heading to work, feeding their kids breakfast, or just waking up. For this violent act to take place in what should be the safety of his own home is just terrifying. If anyone in the community saw anything unusual in the area that morning, even if it seems trivial, I hope they speak up. DarShawn deserves justice, and his family deserves answers. My heart goes out to them during what must be an incredibly difficult and confusing time.
