I can't stop thinking about the crash itself and the scene where Abdoul Aziz Kane was found. It's such a vivid image: the vehicle smashed against the utility pole at that intersection. It makes me wonder if the crash happened because he was trying to escape a dangerous situation or if he lost control after being shot. It's chilling to think about what might have been going through his mind in those last moments. I've passed by that intersection a few times since it happened, and each time, it just hits me how easily something like this can happen to anyone. For the community, the site now holds a somber significance, a reminder of how quickly things can change. I also read that many people called him "Dabakh" with affection. It speaks volumes about who he was and how cherished he was by those who knew him. I really hope someone with information finds the courage to speak up. His family deserves answers and some semblance of closure.
