Hey everyone, I've been following William Cameron Brown's case, and I can't help but wonder about the role of the tides and currents around Geiger Key Marina on the day he vanished. It seems like one of those details that could make a difference, especially since he was using a homemade fiberglass dinghy, which might have been more susceptible to being carried away by strong currents. Does anyone have insights into the tidal patterns in that area back in October 2010? I feel like this might be a factor that's not getting enough attention. If the tides were strong that day, it's possible he could have gotten swept off course, especially if he was unfamiliar with navigating the waters under those conditions. Any locals or sailing experts around who can weigh in on this? Would love to hear your thoughts! Let's keep brainstorming and see if we can uncover something new.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following William Cameron Brown’s disappearance and something keeps nagging at me about the dinghy. I know it's been mentioned in some posts, but I'd like to dive a bit deeper into that angle. The fact that his homemade fiberglass dinghy is missing is pretty significant, right? Given how attached he was to it, this could be a major clue. Those little boats are pretty unique, especially one that's homemade. I can’t shake the feeling that if someone spotted that dinghy, it might point us in a new, hopeful direction. Also, I’m curious if anyone knows of tides or weather conditions around Geiger Key Marina on October 5, 2010? It might help narrow down search areas or understand if something went awry on his way to Key West. I've been doing some digging myself to see if any similar dinghies have surfaced elsewhere or if local marine forums might have some old posts from back then. If anyone has thoughts or finds anything interesting, let's share! Maybe we can unearth something that’s been overlooked.

Does anyone else find the dinghy situation really puzzling in William Cameron Brown's case? I mean, it's already baffling that both he and the dinghy vanished without a trace, but what's really intriguing is the disappearance happened on a day he just intended to pay some fines at the Key West courthouse. Could something have happened on his way there? It seems odd that such a small vessel could disappear totally undetected, even with the search efforts that followed. Plus, the fact that he left his dog behind suggests he planned on coming back, right? I just can't wrap my head around how absolutely no trace of him or the dinghy has been found all these years later. Does anyone else feel like there might be more to this?
