Has anyone else been following the emotional impact statements from Audreona Barnes' family during the trial? I saw some excerpts in the news and it was truly gut-wrenching to hear what they had to say about losing Audreona in such an unimaginable way. It’s just beyond painful to think her body was left unattended for so long, and meanwhile, her loved ones were out there searching, holding onto hope all that time. I can’t begin to imagine the betrayal they must feel knowing Washington was pretending to be concerned, even participating in the search efforts. It's so crucial for communities to come together and support families dealing with such tragic losses. Sending all my thoughts and prayers to the Barnes family.
