I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the emotional toll this must have taken on Robert Kynard’s family, especially Michelle Thomas and their two young sons. Imagine going from such a happy occasion—him proposing—straight into a nightmare. It’s so unimaginable to lose someone like that, who was clearly committed to his family. I hope his family finds some measure of healing and support from those around them. While nothing can truly make up for the loss of such a devoted father and partner, perhaps knowing that the community is standing by them can offer some comfort. It’s important we rally around families like theirs, to not only seek justice but to uphold their strength during such trying times.

Hi everyone, I've been following the case surrounding Robert Kynard, and I just can't stop thinking about how incredibly tragic it is that his two young sons have to grow up without their father. Knowing Robert had just taken such a big step by asking Michelle Thomas to marry him makes it all the more painful. My heart goes out to them and to Michelle, who is left to navigate life without her partner. I can't imagine the kind of strength it takes to move forward after losing someone in such a senseless, violent manner. It seems like the community has really come together for the family, which is so important during times like these.
