I can't stop thinking about what a tragedy this is for Lacey's family and friends. It's just unimaginable that such a vibrant person with dreams of becoming a sign language interpreter had her life cut short so senselessly. I read that she was really close to her cousin, Beno, and it's just so sad to think about the hole this must leave in their lives. Her cousin spoke about her being so full of life and laughter, and it’s heartbreaking to think that those who loved her will never hear that laugh again. I hope those affected find some comfort and strength as they navigate through this incredibly difficult time. I’m also curious if anyone knows more about Jwan McCloud’s background and what possibly led to this tragic confrontation. It just doesn’t make sense how conflicts can escalate to such a devastating point. My thoughts are with Lacey’s family as they wait for justice—hoping it offers them some semblance of closure.
