I've been thinking about the impact this tragedy must have had on Kiara's coworkers at Applebee's. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for them to return to work knowing she won't ever be there again, or how they're coping with the loss of someone they likely saw almost every day. It's so important for workplaces to provide support for employees in the aftermath of such tragedies. I really hope the restaurant management is stepping up to offer counseling services or support groups for the staff. It’s just another reminder of how essential it is for communities and workplaces to come together in times of unimaginable loss and show support to those affected. Does anyone know if there have been any community events organized to help the Applebee's staff or other local supporters of the family?

I can't stop thinking about the employees and regulars at the Applebee’s where Kiara worked. Imagining them getting that terrible news and trying to come to terms with such a loss really gets to me. It must be so hard for her coworkers and friends to comprehend that she won’t be walking through those doors anymore, bringing laughter and light to their shifts. Working in a place where someone so vibrant once was must feel like a shadow now. I hope they find ways to honor her memory daily, maybe through a small memorial or by sharing fond stories. It’s these support systems that can help a community begin to heal after such an unimaginable tragedy. If anyone here knew Kiara, I’d love to hear more about her and how we can remember her in the kindness we share with others. ?
