On December 22, 2021, a tragic incident occurred in Lithopolis, Ohio, where Jeffery Anderson, a 2-year-old boy, along with his 5-year-old brother Joseph Anderson Jr., their mother Kiara Anderson, and their father Joseph Anderson, were found dead in their home. The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office investigated the case and determined it to be an apparent murder-suicide. Joseph Anderson, the father, was identified as the suspected shooter and was believed to have died by suicide.
