Just came across the tragic story of Johnny L. Gaiter, and my heart goes out to his family. What struck me the most was his bravery—risking his own life to shield his grandniece and other family members during the chaos. It shows the kind of person he was: selfless and protective. I can’t imagine the trauma that his loved ones must be experiencing, especially Melinda, having witnessed it all unfold. It's devastating that no one has been held accountable yet, considering the community tensions at play. This situation really underscores the importance of coming together to provide any bits of information that might lead to justice not just for Johnny, but also for little Journei and the entire Gaiter family.
