Has anyone considered the weather conditions around the time William Vernon Smith and Thomas Lee Brewer disappeared? I know they set sail from Marathon, Florida, on January 19, but I’ve been trying to dig up some historical weather data for that period. I wonder if there were any storms or unusual weather patterns that could have affected their voyage towards the Caribbean. Any insights on this? It might give us a clue about what potentially happened to them and *Blondie*. Weather is unpredictable, and even experienced sailors can run into unexpected trouble.
