I recently came across some details about the type of weapon involved in the tragic incident that took Kevin Sobnosky's life, and it really hit me hard thinking about the presence of such firearms on the streets. The fact that the shooter, Keimariyon Ross, used a Draco pistol, which fires rounds similar to an AK-47, is deeply concerning. I can't even imagine how terrifying it must have been for Kevin's friends during those moments at the gas station. This case clearly highlights a much larger issue with gun laws and accessibility. It's not just about this one instance, but how many others are put at risk when weapons like these are in the wrong hands. My heart goes out to the Sobnosky family as they navigate their path to healing from such a terrible loss. I hope we can all advocate for more awareness and change to prevent senseless tragedies like this from happening again.
