I’ve been thinking a lot about the well-being of the Capps' two sons in the aftermath of this tragedy. Losing both parents in such a shocking and sudden way must be incredibly painful, especially under such unsettling circumstances. From what I've read, the community and their church held Judy and Garry in high regard, and I hope that those same people are rallying around their sons to offer support and comfort. Grief is such a complex journey, and having a network of love and understanding can make a difference, even though it can't take away the pain. If anyone knows of any community efforts or ways to support the family, sharing that information could be really helpful for those who want to do something tangible in support.
Just read about Judy and Garry Capps, and it's so difficult to wrap my head around this tragedy. I can't imagine the pain their family and friends are going through right now. I found it particularly tragic that both Judy and Garry seemed to be so beloved in their community. Judy had her ties with Walmart where she worked, and Garry pastored a church that trusted and admired him. Knowing the positive impacts they had makes their loss even more profound.
I'm trying to understand what might lead to this outcome when there were seemingly no signs of trouble. It's such a reminder that we never truly know what burdens people are carrying. I hope that their sons and the rest of their family find some peace and support as they navigate this difficult time. Holding them in my thoughts.
