I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragic loss of Andrew Thomas and his little one, Drew. It's devastating to think about how their trip to Oakland turned into such an unimaginable nightmare. It’s really disturbing to see how gun violence and gang activities have shattered yet another family. The fact that Drew was only a year old adds to the deep pain of this case. I hope the increased attention on this incident will spark further investigation into gang-related violence in Oakland. It feels like the community continuously reels from one tragedy to another without much resolution. If there are people who know something, I truly wish they would come forward to help bring justice for Andrew and Drew. My thoughts are with their family, and I hope they find some peace amidst this awful ordeal.
