I've been digging into the McCutcheon case, and something that really stood out to me is Buddy's love for music and history. It's just so deeply sad that someone with such varied interests and talents met such a tragic end. I can’t help but wonder how his passion for playing music and studying history played into his life and relationships. People often said he was generous with sharing his love for these subjects—perhaps a way he connected with others outside of his professional life. This just adds another layer of loss for his friends and family, who didn’t just lose a skilled surgeon but a vibrant soul who had so much more to share with the world. My thoughts are with all those who knew and cherished him during this difficult and painful time.
