I’ve been following the Kinston case closely, and it’s deeply unsettling to think about how Demone Nesbitt’s life was cut short over something he wasn’t even a part of. He just happened to be there, and that’s utterly devastating. It’s been really frustrating to hear about the involvement of Nicholas Xavier Edwards. I realize he’s only facing obstruction charges, but it makes me wonder what exactly he did that led to those charges. Did he help the suspect after the fact, or was he part of some cover-up? It’s so crucial for the investigation to figure this out to help deliver some justice to the families of Nesbitt and Girtley. The idea that this might be connected to other shootings is just mind-boggling. I really hope they find all the pieces soon so that the families can find some peace. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this awful situation.

I can't stop thinking about Demone Nesbitt's case and how a community can be so deeply impacted by the loss of its young members. It’s really distressing to see someone so young, with his whole life ahead of him, become a victim purely because of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Kinston must be reeling from this tragedy, knowing that such violence touched their neighborhood. Something that stands out to me is the pressure this must put on local law enforcement and the community itself. With the possibility of these murders being linked to the shootings in Goldsboro over Memorial Day, it adds a layer of complexity and concern. Are the authorities able to connect the dots effectively in these investigations? Also, the fact that Edwards is facing charges for obstruction of justice suggests there may be more to unravel here. It’s crucial we support the investigators as they work tirelessly to bring clarity and justice for Demone, Donald, and their loved ones. Holding the memory of these young men close as we watch for further developments.
