Does anyone else feel that the system really failed Brittany White? It’s just so disheartening to see someone like her take all the right steps, only to be let down. What more could she have done? Filing multiple restraining orders and reporting Bennett numerous times should have warranted more decisive action from law enforcement. It's infuriating to think about how preventable her death might have been. I hope her story shines a light on the gaps in the system and sparks the changes we desperately need. My heart goes out to her family, especially her children. They’ve been through so much at such a young age, and I truly hope they find peace and healing. Her aunt Carla’s calls for system reform are so important; I hope they don’t fall on deaf ears.
