Brittany White, a 24-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on January 11, 2018, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Brittany was a mother of three children and was in a relationship with Jonathan Bennett, who was the father of one of her children. On that fateful day, Brittany was shot and killed by Bennett, who then kidnapped their three-month-old child and ambushed police officers at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Headquarters.
