I've been following Daquan Shannon's case closely, and one aspect that really stands out to me is the community's response. At a time of such immense sorrow, it's truly moving to see how everyone has come together, not just to support Daquan's family but to also rally for broader change. The vigil and balloon release were powerful symbols of that unity. It's comforting to know that people like his cousin, Mario Black, are using their voices to advocate for at-risk youth and bring attention to the issues that need addressing to prevent further tragedies. It's clear that Daquan was loved deeply, and his impact on his community will not be forgotten. Sending my thoughts to all those who knew and cared for him.
