It's so upsetting to see how violence impacted Derrick Dent's life and the entire Laurinburg community. I've been thinking a lot about how disputes can spiral out of control, especially when emotions are running high. It's a stark reminder of how crucial it is to find peaceful resolutions. I can't imagine the pain Derrick's family and friends must be going through. It’s particularly sad when a life is cut short over a disagreement. It sounds like his friend Corey Monroe is really struggling with feelings of "what if." The vigil for Derrick is a testament to how much he meant to his loved ones and the community. It’s important for us to support each other and remember those we've lost too soon. My thoughts are with everyone affected.
