I came across some thoughts about the night Cequan Scales was tragically taken from us, and I think it’s important to discuss how places like Absolute Ultra Bar & Lounge handle security during peak times. It's so concerning that an altercation could escalate to this level of violence, and I'm left wondering about the security measures in place that night. Were there any preventive measures or security personnel present who could have stepped in sooner? This community shouldn’t have to endure such loss, especially when we all know that Cequan had a promising future and was adored by those who knew him. My heart truly goes out to his family and friends. It’s devastating to see another life lost to violence. Hopefully, this serves as a call to action for stronger safety protocols to protect everyone as they enjoy a night out.
