I've been following the Nelson Goff case closely, and my heart goes out to his family and all who knew him. It's unsettling to think that no arrests have been made yet. I live a few towns over from New Bern, and the idea that violence like this can happen in our communities is disturbing. Poplar Street is not far from where my cousin lives, and they've told me how tense things have been in the area since Nelson's death. It's painful to see how such a promising young life was cut short, and I truly hope that someone steps forward with information that could help solve this case. Sending strength to all those impacted by this tragedy.

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Nelson Gregory Goff and wanted to address something that’s been on my mind since I first heard about it. It's about the role of the community in all this. From what I've read, Nelson was deeply loved by those around him, and his loss has truly shaken so many people in New Bern. I can't stop thinking about how important community support is, especially when there's a lack of answers. I've seen it in other cases too, where a close-knit community can make a real difference in getting justice. I think if people who might have seen or heard something—even if they think it's insignificant—come forward, it could provide the break in the case. The more people break the silence, the better chance there is to find the truth and honor Nelson’s memory. It must be incredibly tough for his family and friends to go through this without closure.
