I've been following the case of Tiyquasha Simuel, and one aspect that really stands out to me is her brave decision to testify in that capital murder trial just weeks before her own tragic death. It makes me wonder how much, if anything, that testimony played a role in her murder. Simuel was clearly a courageous person, facing potentially dangerous repercussions for doing what she believed was right. It's incredibly frustrating that no arrests have been made yet, and I can only imagine how her family must feel, not only losing her and little K'syon but also not having the answers they desperately need. Sending strength and hope for justice their way. If anyone knows anything, please come forward.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the community response to Tiyquasha Simuel's tragic death, and it really shows how deeply this has affected everyone here in Asheville. It's incredibly hard to process something this devastating when it happens so close to home. I've noticed a lot of neighbors gathering and trying to come to terms with what happened, and there’s just a strong, palpable sense of wanting justice and answers. It's admirable to see local groups stepping up to offer support to Tiyquasha's family and trying to keep the spotlight on the case until it's resolved. There's a growing frustration with the lack of arrests, and it seems like many in the community are trying to find ways to help.
I just wanted to remind everyone, especially those in the area, to stay hopeful and supportive. If anyone knows anything, even the smallest detail can make a difference, so please share what you can with the police. Tiyquasha and her little one deserve justice, and together I believe we can play a role in making that happen. ?
Stay safe, everyone, and please keep spreading love and support where you can.

Has anyone looked into the previous connections Simuel might have had in the neighborhood? I can’t help but think that her testament in the Dixon trial could have made her some enemies, but maybe there’s more beneath the surface. It’s awful to think that her brave decision to stand as a witness might have put her at risk. Asheville has always felt like a close-knit community, so it’s hard to imagine something like this happening here. If anyone from the area has noticed anything unusual or has info that hasn’t been reported yet, please come forward. Not just for Simuel, but for her baby too. Hoping for justice and peace for their family.
