I've been thinking a lot about the role that conflict resolution might have played in saving Quandarro McCleary's life. It's so tough to see a life cut short, and it makes me wonder how situations like these can be prevented. It's unsettling that a verbal disagreement could escalate so quickly and end in tragedy. I wish there were more resources or programs focused on teaching conflict resolution techniques within communities. It seems like no one should have to resort to violence when walking away or seeking mediation could be alternatives. My heart goes out to Quandarro's family and friends as they navigate their grief and search for answers. I hope that moving forward, more awareness can be raised about resolving disputes peacefully.
