I’ve been reading up on the Arsenio Kamal Gaskins case, and I can’t stop thinking about how senseless this whole tragedy is. It’s deeply unsettling to think about how quickly a situation can escalate. It’s heartbreaking that Gaskins lost his life simply because tempers flared after what seemed to be a normal conversation outside Players Choice.
What really gets to me is the ripple effect this has on Arsenio’s family. From what I’ve read, his mother and sisters showed incredible strength throughout the trial. The support they must have given each other during those difficult court sessions speaks volumes about their love for Arsenio. I can’t even imagine the sheer emotional burden they’re carrying right now.
Seeing the legal outcomes, it’s a relief to know that justice has, in some sense, been served. However, I wonder if it ever truly brings any peace or if it’s just another part of navigating the enormous loss. My thoughts are with his family and friends as they continue to cope with such a devastating event.

Their love for Arsenio was evident in their determination to seek justice. In a situation where it's easy to feel powerless, they stood their ground. My heart goes out to them as they continue to navigate life with this huge loss. I truly hope they find some comfort in their memories of Arsenio and the fact that they honored him by fighting for justice.
