Has anyone looked into the possibility that Thomas might have been trying to return to a memorable place in the Spavinaw Hills Game Refuge? Given his condition post-surgery, it's possible he was drawn back there by something emotionally significant or comforting to him. I know from local lore that the area can be pretty rugged, and getting lost or injured out there is a real risk, especially if he wasn't thinking clearly. Just a thought, but could there be any connections between his past and that particular spot? It might be worth checking with his family about any history he had with the area. My heart goes out to everyone affected. It's such a baffling and concerning situation.

Hey everyone, I was just reading up on Thomas William Barkfelt's case, and something that stands out to me is where his truck was found. It seems really odd that his light blue Ford Ranger was discovered at the Spavinaw Hills State Game Refuge. Has anyone looked into why he might have gone there? It's not exactly on a direct path between Pineville and Fairland, or at least that's how it looks on the map. I wonder if this location has any significance or if it's just another part of his delusional state at the time? The fact that his wallet, cell phone, and car keys were left in the unlocked truck makes this even more puzzling. If anyone has thoughts or theories about why Thomas might have ended up there, I'd love to hear them. Maybe someone local knows more about the area and if it could hold clues we haven't considered yet. Hoping for new insights, [username]

Has anyone looked into the fact that Thomas's blue Ford Ranger was found at the Spavinaw Hills State Game Refuge? It seems pretty unusual for him to leave all his personal belongings in the truck like that. I know his behavior had been erratic, but the location is odd. Did he have any previous connection to that area or know anyone from there? It's such a desolate place and not somewhere you’d expect him to just wander off to, especially with his medication needs. Also, with the truck being parked since October 15, I wonder if anyone recalls seeing anything suspicious around that area during those days. It's baffling how people can just vanish like that. Maybe local hunters or hikers might have seen something that could help the investigation? Let’s keep this thread alive in hopes for new insights.
