Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the timing and location of Bobby Earl Lucas's murder. Montecito West apartments are surrounded by places that usually feel pretty safe—restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. You'd think there'd be a lot of foot traffic, even late at night. Does anyone know if there are security cameras in that area or inside the apartment complex? It seems like a place that would have at least some surveillance. I'm curious if any footage led to Nanes's arrest or if it was more about the witness accounts and evidence gathered by investigators. It's comforting to see the collaboration between different police departments, but we all know how crucial community input and resources like CCTV can be in these investigations. My heart goes out to the families; I hope they receive the answers and justice they so deserve.
