Does anyone else find it curious that John Getman expressed an interest in going to New York right before he went missing? It's not uncommon for individuals with Alzheimer's to experience confusion and memory issues, but the idea that he specifically mentioned New York makes me wonder if there's something more to it. Did he have any connections there or any deep-seated memories from that place? It's possible that his desire to go to New York was linked to a past event or person, which might have been significant enough for him to attempt such a journey at his age. Also, I wonder if there were any friends or family living in New York he might have been trying to reach out to. It just feels like a piece of the puzzle we might be overlooking. If anyone has more info or similar thoughts, I'd love to hear them.
