Did anyone else hear that the two women involved were trying to intervene and calm things down before it all went horribly wrong? It's incredibly brave and selfless of them to step in and try to prevent violence. I can’t imagine how terrifying and traumatic the experience must have been for them. They were just bystanders trying to do the right thing, and it's devastating that they got caught in the crossfire. I'm hoping they receive all the support they need to recover both physically and emotionally from this ordeal. What a sad situation all around. If anyone in the Charlotte area was around that night and saw anything, please speak up. The community needs to rally together to bring justice for Carlos and safety for everyone else involved.
